In simulated 3-d
Red Mask was a spin off of Tim Holt, a comic book based on the B-movies of sometimes A-star Tim Holt. Tim Holt and Red Mask are remembered today for introducing Dick Ayers' Ghost Rider, but Frank Bolle, the artist behind Holt's adventures had quite a resume himself.
At the height of the 3-D comics boom, Bolle and Magazine Enterprises tried to cash in with "3-D Effects" that consisted of breaking the frame and working in the occasional perspective trick. Obviously it never caught on but it's still worth a look.

Another Adventure of the original Ghost Rider
Nice use of perspective
Also take note of one of the most popular tropes in westerns of the era, villains pretending to be Indians.
