With the death of Joe Kubert earlier, Carmine Infantino was arguably the important figure of both the Golden and Silver Ages. In many ways, the clean, dynamic style defined the pre-Fantastic Four Silver Age comic.
Infantino was one of the main artists on the post-war run of Hillman's Airboy. Here's a memorable (if not overly believable) contribution.
